You can start your application by filling out all of the relevant information on our Apply page.
The hiring manager will review your application. If you’re successful, you’ll be invited to an interview. Time for a quick celebration, before brushing up on everything Aldi.
Then it’s time for your interview. This will be with an Area Manager in a store. Afterwards, you’ll take part in the ‘Aldi Experience’, where you’ll show us how you’d perform in store.
There’s no time like now to start your Aldi journey. We can’t wait for you to be part of the team.Search for a role
Because we’re continuing to grow, we’re always on the lookout for new store colleagues. You can find all the vacancies near you, register your interest and apply above.
You don’t need any formal qualifications. It’s more important that you have a friendly personality, a ‘get-on-with-it’ attitude and a passion for putting people first.
It can be tough in the store, and lots of different challenges will come your way. We need to know that you can handle the Aldi challenge, and that you’re great at dealing with people. After all, you’ll always support the team and focus on your customers. So you’ll need to show us you can be a reliable team member, happy to help out whenever possible.
We’ll create a training programme that suits you. Experienced colleagues will take you under their wing and help you learn everything from store cleaning to the ins and outs of health and safety. And both your Store Manager and Area Manager will be closely involved to make sure you have everything you need.
Where possible, you’ll be trained in your local area.
You’ll receive constant feedback on your performance throughout your training, from your Store Manager and your Area Manager. But it’s a two-way thing. You’ll also have plenty of opportunity to offer your own thoughts and perspective on your development.
The stores will be local but travelling by public transport may not always be convenient. It’s always a big help if you have the flexibility to provide cover in other local stores.
It’s simple really. We believe our people are the best in the retail business. Compared with other supermarkets, our teams are smaller and the job involves a much wider range of activities. Our store colleagues work hard, they’re flexible, they use their initiative… at the end of the day, they deserve every cent.
It depends on the store size but you'll normally work with an average of 25 colleagues.
Store Cleaners work between 10 and 30 hours a week. The Store Manager will draw up the rota 4 weeks in advance and your work patterns will reflect the needs of the store. We expect you to be flexible but we also try and accommodate your needs too.
Aldi will continue to follow all government guidance regarding face to face interviews. If your application is successful, we will let you know the details closer to the time.
All candidates whether successful or not will be notified. We are understandably receiving a high volume of applications at the moment so it is taking longer than usual to process, but assure you we are working very hard to process as many applications as we can.
