FAQs

The National Internship is available to students who are required to undergo an Internship programme as part of their course. If your course has a required Internship programme element, you are eligible to apply.

Recruitment for the National Internship programme takes place according to the relevant third level institutions academic programme. Typically these are around September and January. Once we’ve reached capacity for the year, we will close for applications until the following year.

8AM - 4:30PM Monday to Friday.

Your role will cover various aspects of head office training and project work. We'll need you to travel between locations from time to time, but travel expenses will of course be reimbursed.

If, after graduating, you’re considering Aldi as a career choice – and you performed well on the programme – you may be offered the opportunity to apply, which will be discussed with your Direct Leader.

If your application is successful, we will let you know the details closer to the time.

If your Masters course has a required Internship Programme as part of the course, you are welcome to apply. If your Masters does not have a required Internship Programme as part of the course, we would recommend you apply to our Graduate Area Manager Programme.

The internships can vary in duration across 6, 9 or 12 months depending on the relevant degree discipline.
