You’ll find fewer Store Assistants at Aldi than most supermarkets. Partly because of the efficient way we work. But also because they’re pretty unique. Benefits

Market leading package

As an Aldi Store Assistant, you’ll earn €11.70 per hour rising to €14.00 per hour. If you’re in County Dublin stores, you’ll receive €12.00 per hour rising to €14.00 per hour.

Work Life Balance

Your usual contracted hours will be around 25 hours per week, however additional hours are often available.

Holiday

To keep you refreshed for the dynamic, fast-paced Aldi life, you’ll get 4 weeks' annual leave, as well as bank holidays.

Application Process

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again – Aldi Store Assistants are wonderfully different. They know how to get the job done, while also giving customers the best experience around. To make sure you’ve got what it takes, we’ll ask you to complete three simple steps.

 

Online application
Before you tell us more about your skills and attributes, you’ll need to take our situational judgement test. It’s a great way to see if you’re right for Aldi, and if we’re right for you. We’ll test key skills such as mental arithmetic, judgement or memory.

 

Screening
Next, our recruitment team will check your application. If you’re successful, you’ll be invited to an interview. Time for a quick celebration, before brushing up on everything Aldi.

 

Individual interview
Then it’s time for your interview. This will be with an Area Manager in a store. Afterwards, you’ll take part in the ‘Aldi Experience’, where you’ll get the chance to observe the different tasks you would be expected to complete in the role.
